Keisler T45RS

Does anyone know anything about the new T45RS from Keisler? Are these rebuilt Borg Warner units? Bolt-in? Reliable? The price tag is more affordable than a TKO, especially for daily drivers with less than 450 HP.
Drive it like you stole it.

The T45RS is less expensive for a reason.  It's not anywhere near the torque capacity of the TKO's.  This is basically the same transmission installed on late 90's Mustangs.  Please note if the Ford guys are replacing these with TKO's - the bet is you will be as well.  Remember you get what you pay for, think long term and build your car accordingly even though it can take you years to get there.

Well I will chime in here.

1st of all The Mopar versions are not available yet.  When they are there will be a 350,425 and 600 HP version.

2nd Tony these came in 96-2001 Mustangs. They were made along side T56 and share many components. Please don't talk about anything you don't know about.

3rd Chryco give it up no need to bash everytime someone post something with Keisler you are always negative.  Please stay neutral like a mod should. Don't know when you installed Keisler parts but I would bet it was a long time ago and things have changed.

We will develop kits that will fit better and be lower cost even the 600 Hp version.

Think the T-45 is weak check this link out.

The C-C community always welcomes helpful folks. We appreciate your input when trying to assist members here with any issues they might have. That said, if you are here to promote a product for the members here to purchase, I would suggest that you post up your company/vendor information in that section of the forum.

As for the Chryco comment above, please don't give him any advice concerning his conduct/comments on this board. He is a founding member here and has as much right as anyone here to speak about his experiences with any product he has used.  He is respected by all here and has repeatedly gone way beyond the extra mile to help these folks, including flying from his location to theirs in order to help them get their car sorted out.
