The Commonly referred to as the world famous "Big Block 318", or "Wide Block 318" An "LA" intake will NOT fit a Poly engine...The intakes are WAY different...BTW: an original 4BBL intake for the poly engine will run around $450.00,,And the Dual Four version (1957 Fury only), will be even more expensive...Save your money and swap out that old Poly and repalce it with a later model "LA" Style 318-340-360...MY .02

10-4-66 would indicate a 1967 Model year 318.  1967 was the first year for the LA 318, primarily in Canada.  68 it replaced the 273 in just about everything in the US.

BTW: according to your picture you have an LA 318.  So a 340/360 intake will essentially fit.  There will be some slight port mismatch, but its nothing major unless you are doing a serious build.

With all the internals being 2bbl cam, small valve small port heads, just adding a 4bbl isn't going to give you much of nothing except looking at it. Welcome to the wonderful world of Horse Power break your wallet syndrome. You need to do some reading up on La performance engines and ask a lot of questions before you go any further. You are just getting a nibble on a contagious hobby that will cause you to spend more money than you can imagine :money:
