If anyone has ever wondered about the picture quality of a borescope for automotive repairs (I know I did for 2 years and couldn't find anyone who had one). My wife bought me one last week (check it out here
http://www.foranythingautomotive.com/
)cuz I had been bugging her for one . And let me tell you the picture quality is far far better than I had ever imagined. I am waiting to get a "c" mount so I can hook it to my web cam to show customers pictures of their actual damage to their motors with out teardowns. Not that I'm pimping for this web site but their price was the best I found and service was above average too. This thing blows away the snap-on and the mac borescope on clarity and resolution and the last time I priced snap-ons it was like $450 (and is only a polished tube with a maglite on it ...I couldnt see crap with it ) Just thought I would pass this info on incase anyone was interested...One handy tool !!!

might sound stupid but what exactly you do with it?? look on the inside of engines to see whats broke or if the bore is scarred?? is it just for the bores or can you look at like the crank and stuff.
