I went with XV Motorsports sub frame connectors, but those are completely weld in. No bolts or anything like that.

If you want simple bolt in units, Comp Engineering may be your only choice. I think most others weld in. Of course, I suppose you could just drill the holes to bolt in.

The Hotchkis design seems to be a great compromise for a bolt on/weld on system.

You bolt it in the rear opposite the from leaf spring mount (4 bolts) and then you can bring it to your local muffler shop and have them weld the front up.

That being said, I bought the Auto Rust Technician SFCs.  I had to slit the floors for them, can't tell they are there under the carpet, and welded them in myself with my 110V wire feed.  Was a good weekend project.

no pix of my connectors , lost all the pix of my resto when my computer crashed last week
I use a 1x2" ,.125 wall retangular tube , I butt it up to the Torsion bar cross member & cut a notch in the middle to bend it to follow the floor & weld it onto the angled part at the front of the rear frame rails

I used 2x2 tube welded on.

Just for info. The Hotchkis bolt-in version does not fit 70-71 convertibles or 440/426 cars or any other cars with the torque plates welded on.

I was able to install the Hotchkis connectors in my torque box Challenger with some work.
I like how they are mounted with the spring.

I made my own. Neil ( CP) gave me the idea on this one.
I added holes ,then welded tubes in them. This makes it even stronger by taking more of any twist out of it. I tested it by clamping it into a vice then with a big adjustable wrench and trying to twist it. When I added the holes/tubing it made a noticeable difference! At the back I fitted it to the torque boxes I had just welded on.
Total cost....a whopping $10 bucks in material and about 3 hours work.....

I wrote a great reply with pics and explanations, but I see that it didn't arrive.
Are you still interested in how I did it with torque boxes?
