BODY PLUGS

Most of the plugs are rubber obviouslly but some are plastic.  Where do the plastic ones go? 

There is a plug on the firewall on the electric washer cars where the foot pump would mount on a manual washer car.  Is that plug rubber or plastic? Thanks

There are a few plastic plugs in the kit I have.  Where would those go?  I can pull the plastic ones out and get their diameters if need be.

On a Cuda the plastic ones go in the trunk area, two over the plate light. I can't remember where else and I have no idea on a Challenger as I have never owned one.

I quickly realised that the body plug kit is a generic one that is supposed to fit both Cudas and Challengers.  I think I'm going to have to re-use a few of my origonal plugs.  The kit came with two different styles of large plug.  4 of one style and 4 of the other.  I think my car just used one style.

Can I get a picture of the trunk floor of a 73 that shows the four large plugs?  Preferably of one that still has the origonal plugs in it.

One more thing...I was looking through my origonal ones and found 1 plastic plug that was larger than all the other one.s  It said 1 3/8" on it when all the others said 1 1/4".  That plug fit the washer pump hole right by the brake booster.  The bodyplug kit didn't contain a new plug for that location.  So, it looks like(in 73 anyway) that plug is plastic.

Just checked the plug to the drivers left of the brake booster & it is plastic on my '73, I don't recall any other plastic other than the drains in the trunk extensions.

What do the four large plugs in the trunk look like?  Do they resemble the smaller plugs or do they look more like the upper shock access plugs?  Thanks

The 4-large plugs are black rubber & have the center sunk, there are 4-smaller plugs 2-on either side behind the wheel wells that are more flat.
