dang aloid the body on that car looks great!!
Thanks Bill.  I'm fortunate to have a car with most of the body work already done.
FYI - I've started posting my pictures via my free google webpage.  I just upload them there and point to the individual picture when posting here.
Was really easy to do.

Can't wait to see your pictures!

MOPAR 12372-
I'm looking at that particular frame connector. What issues did you incur?
Any advise/tips for install?
Thanks
Ron

i had to modify it a little . a frend of mine and i made plates and welded them to the body . i can explain how we did it if ya want .
i probably less money to goto a metal company to get the metal and doit you self if you can weld.

well what you do is cut the big end off by grinding the welds and removeing it. then we  located a spot on the  transmission support crossmember welded a plate .
put frame conecter in place and located and marked where it ended up .
welded a plate in that area (i relocated my leaf springs so the 15x10 29x12.50 5 1/2 back space rims and tires would fit)
right behind the relocation mount right next to where the old rear leaf spring mount was there is a area where i plated .
i then placed the connecer over plates (they are straight across)welded it up and boxed in the rear of the connector to close the end to clean it up.
very easy with minimal skill requirement(just welding) are you in cali? Bill

Looking really good.  Is that the original color?  It looks very close to the color of my 73 Barracuda.  Are you going back green or another color?

actually in the beginning i was going grey or white . 12 years has gone bye and the color has grown on me but with the stripe from front to rear to break it up .ive even contemplated a black vinal top .
i dont know what has come over me but i think its the influence of cars from here .

Nice progress.  I just found your resto post and read it from the start.  I feel you re the hack job repairs.  When I bought my '70'Cuda the previous owner had done a real hack job repair on both rear quarters from a wreck he had been in.  Even though my body man said he could fix it, the more I looked at it the more I did not like it, so off the old quarters came and new quarters were installed.  Keep us posted on your progress and remember: :useless:    :2thumbs:   :wavingflag:
