Lets say for the sake of arguement that is a 71 with a 318 (since out of the lists of different varieties of years/engines you all have listed, it seems the most likely) how much would you say that would go for with a body that has minimal rust, basic interior, 4 speed automatic (I think is what the guy said), and a solid body.
Its hard to get pics since this guy and I aren't exactly pals to say the least, so would look strange me taking photos, but hopefully can tomorrow after/before work.
First off, welcome to c-c.c, this is a great place to hang out next to actually being in the presence of MOPARS.
Obviously first you need to establish just what the car actually is ie: year, make, model, drivetrain etc. You also should obviously personally inspect the car once that is known and if you are still interested in buying it. And honestly if the seller dosen't want pics taken that would send up a big ole red flag as far as I'm concerned. I've like others here have looked at lots of cars and then later asked myself a question concerning the car and a pic would have helped me with questions. Friends or not, the guy has set a price, he either can possibly lower it for a sale or say it's no longer for sale. If he tries to raise the price on you consider it a bad experience and walk away.
Your post may have generated a bit of good natured kidding, but these guys and gals here will step up and help you learn and grow into the MOPAR world of love and pride in our cars. Don't take it personally.....................now, when you get to be old and forgetful like me expect to be "disrespected with friendly love".
About the price, now if this turns out to be an original 71 model with any engine and if it will start and move without falling apart another grand is still probaly a good price.
