Every time I see that pic I wish that car had gone into production.

Not me.
Cant say how it would have gone over, but looking at it today...it looks tacky, and thats how I think it would have been judged.

Maybe. At the time, the '71 was considered garish and out of line with the Plymouth image and sales reflected  that. Now they are the most chased after Cudas of all.

I agree.
The 71 is so collectable now because of what it still had under the hood. If 70 had been the last year of big muscle, they would by far be THE most collectable Mopars.
And maybe if the 75 (or the 77) had a hemi, or at least a powerful 440 available in it, things would have been different.
The muscle is what really made the muscle car look good!

A `77 314 cuda is pretty rare but not worth as much as a `72 Hemicuda!   :naughty:

Get some pics and copy down the vin number on the dash board, drivers side thru the windshield. If you can also check under the hood on the drivers side inner fender for a tag with numbers and letters and inside the drivers door on the rear edge for a sticker with more info.

Ahah I agree but I think I'll take the 70-71 cuda over the 72/74 years and there's no such thing as a 77 cuda they stopped making cudas in1974

That design study is cool, but a little garish as is. It just needs a big, ugly wing on the back to set it off, you know? I'm sure 'Cuda Hunter would agree with me.
