It looks like you have a really great start.  I would recommend keeping all the original drivetrain, etc. stored away.  You never know if you would want it again.  There is only one original drivetrain.

I grabbed a few more pics yesterday.  I need to order a passenger side painted mirror and a "gull wing".  Anyone know first hand of a quality product for a fair price?  I also need a pair of RT side scoops, I'll pay a VERY fair price for a set of nice originals.......

I got my painted mirror from Vans Auto. They have pretty good prices and the quality of the mirror is as good as anybody's. You can't beat First Place for the gull wing kits they offer. Their products are top notch.

Update coming Saturday.  I haven't been to the shop in 3 weeks cause the guys were traveling to Carlisle, hershy and SEMA.  But they are back and I will be visiting Saturday to make a payment and get up to date on where we are at.  My man told me on the phone that all of the metal work is done from the windshield back.  He was going to paint a scrap piece for me so I can see the color.

We are also going to figure out what route to go with new fenders, I am really leaning on waiting for the AMD fenders to come out and just keeping my fingers crossed that they aren't too far away.  We also need to decide on weather I will stay with a 22" radiator or switch out for a 26".  I want to get a radiator that at least looks close to stock.

Hopefully I will have updated pics to post on Saturday

Pics are up from my visit yesterday.  Lots of progress since I saw the car last.  Just about all the metal work is complete from the windshield back.  Several small spots of rust were cut out and removed around the bottom of the car.  We found that the repop passenger quarter that was installed in the 80's wasn't stamped correctly and that a flip top cap wouldn't fit right.  So I cut the filler hole out of my 73 parts car and they welded that in place.  They also had to work on the repop panel where it meets the door.  The body line down the middle of the car was all rounded in this spot.  The guys welded in some metal and reshaped the area to match the original side.
We have decided to wait for the AMD fenders to be released.  So the shop is going to work on painting the interior pieces and rewiring the ralley dash conversion.  oOnce the fenders come out, we will be replacing both fenders and installing an AMD R/T hood.  I am also going to buy a shaker hood and have it fitted and sprayed now so it can be installed later when I save up the cash for the rest of the shaker components.

Coming along nice.

Can't really tell from the pics but it almost looks like the door to qtr gaps are tight. Of course you'll find that out once you start hangin the fenders on.

Engine compartment has been sandblasted and primer.  New Glen Ray radiator shipped today.  The modification to the rad support will be the last of the body work until the fenders are available.  The shop is going to work on interior panels next.

radiator is in and at the shop, replacement passengerside radiator support piece came today and I'll be bringing it up to the shop tomorrow.  Final major metal work should be done this weekend.  Paint has been mixed, looks a little green to me but it does match the chip on the paint chart pretty well.  I'll grab some pics of the paint sample tomorrow.  Come on AMD wheres those fenders????
