"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

How well do the AMD fenders fit? I have a 71 Challenger and need to replace my left front.

Thanks,  Mopar Mike

Sorry for the delay in replies, I've been away from the board for a while.  The AMD fenders did come out of the first run of production.  In the words of my body guy, "they were OK".  They took about 12 hours of labor to get all the waves out and work in the body line just above the wheel molding.  The guys at the shop all agreed they have worked with worse reproductions.  In addition to the waves, the set of fenders I received had outward dimples on the top and sides where the underside bracing was crimped on.  Also the welds below the headlight buckets had to be drilled out and reattached to allow the front valance to be attached.  They were too tight , so after drilling the fenders were spread, valance attached and then re-welded.  My AMD dealer called AMD about these issues and sent them a bunch of pics, They agreed to refund me $150, it wasn't alot but they didn't HAVE to give me anything,  At that time they said they were not going to run another batch until the bugs were worked out.  That was back in January and I don't know where they stand now.  After paint I think they look good.  There has been much progress since my last post, the exterior of the car is just about done and I am expecting to start on the interior this week, with a completion goal date about mid August.  I will post some updated pictures when I get on my home computer.  Thanks for all the support!
