Wally426, That is a great looking old truck!  Did you leave the rust on there on purpose, just haven't painted it yet, or is it 'rust' look-alike paint?  Either way its cool, I know the 'shop truck' look is hot right now, but I don't think I could let rust stay on old metal any longer than I had to!  Stacy David's Gears TV show was working on the backend of a 472 Hemi Dodge Shop Truck, just too cool...

Hey 8657 Hemi,
Noticed you have a bed cover on your truck is that one of the covers from a Company in Texas that makes custom covers for Trucks? I can't remember the name of the Company but we bought one of the covers for our 1972 1/2 ton Dodge Truck. My husband is restoring his Truck that he bought new when he came back from Viet Nam. I will post some pictures if I can get them to work. Hopefully the truck will be painted in the next month or so and then the fun part of putting the Truck back together begins. Should be a fun winter project for my husband.
Everybody's Trucks look great.

What color is your husbands truck? I had a Turquoise one just like my 68 and loved that truck!! I parted it out in the end, perfect tailgate and all.  :crying:

I've for the most part have always had a truck but they were never anything but work related, those are nice !!. I've always thought it would be cool to take a dually and alter the fenders (not so boxy) and instead of duals put on 12 inch slicks, and of course some lowering and custom work. It would look cool but be totally an eye turner, not so much for work  :roflsmiley:
