I ran across this cool looking truck

I've for the most part have always had a truck but they were never anything but work related, those are nice !!. I've always thought it would be cool to take a dually and alter the fenders (not so boxy) and instead of duals put on 12 inch slicks, and of course some lowering and custom work. It would look cool but be totally an eye turner, not so much for work 

Sounds like your next real project.... I think its time you cranked up a new one anyway!

Never happen, I'm not getting younger so time is against me and I have "back burnered" the Dart project seems so many times it evloves into a "new" project.    And when I hit the lottery I'll be able to take the C body vert. to a shop and leave it there for a couple years for resto. Otherwise, home remodeling and building a house/garage at our other property will consume me and what money I can get ahold of.    But still have dreams and remember what would be cool, like those trucks.

My husbands Truck is two tone.  It is Orange with White on the bottom and White on the top of the cab. He is going back with Orange but it will be the Lamborghini Orange which has a ton of pearl in it. It will have White on the top of the cab and the White will also have pearl in it. Can't wait to see how it turns out. We will drive it to the Car Shows.  We have bought a ton of parts for it already and he is going with some custom touches which should look really cool.  He rebuilt a 340 and we bought a new 6pack to put on the 340.  I will post pictures when it is done.

A little more information on "Big Red".  It is a 54 C-1-D-6.  It is a one ton with a 9 foot box, 4-speed with a flat head six.  Totally stock and received a frame off restoration that was completed in 1999.  The color is "Dodge Truck Red", the color it was from the factory. It's as sweet as it looks.  PK

For the guys take old MOPAR coupes and put gm drive trains in. I would want to trade my old Harley with the new honda engine and trans in it even up. Make no sense to change out good for bad in any MOPAR.
