What would it take to use an all drum brake light switch for use with front disc brakes? Do I need a proportening type brake light switch or a manual type proportening valve plumbed into the rear brake line or nothing at all as it will work as is? My master cylinder is a disc/drum type now. This is in a 71 Challenger but is a driver type car with rear 11" drum brakes and front disc brakes so I am looking for proper functioning, not era correct. This car came to me with these braking parts. Thanks for any help/advise on this.

The switch on the proportioning valve is a brake warning switch, brake light switch is under the dash activated by the pedal mechanism.

Replacement proportioning valve is available through Inline tube, some folks are liking a Wilwood valve that is adjustable but does not have the warning light switch but does have a brake light switch.  (try not to be confused LOL)

Thanks for the reply Bullitt. Sorry about using the wrong termonolgy for the brake warning light switch as I do realize the difference. The picture link for the Wilwood was great. Have you had any experience with the Mopar Perf. manual adjuster valve? Thanks again.

I have not used an adjustable valve..... the complete Wilwood valve costs much less than just the Mopar adjuster, both require a little additional/changed plumbing.
