This is a short pull in mine:

I ran a 11.6 @ 122 in that car with the stock block and some bolt on ****.  That was before the Meth and more boost also, prolly 11.3-11.4 now without a problem.  Just have to get the cage in the car before I try that lol

It's all relative to how much you want to dump into a car.

But for those who think their Soob is fast.....

Picked up this as my DD. I like the turbo AWD's, and the V8's.

I have a host of Mopars A, B, E bodies and trucks..... but i do have a little Subaru too! Mine has ran a best of 11.96 @115.25mph, thats on street tires and pump gas. I drive the car to work and in all weather and it holds up. These cars ARE true driver cars and demand respect. I love old Dodges but you really have to have something special to contend with some mildly warmed over AWD Subarus on the street.

I agree. I have respect for them. Those little 4 cylinder blocks are strong as he!!. Capable of over 1000 hp.
My nephew ran 200 mph in his highly modded porsche turbo in the standing mile here a couple years ago, and the car right after him ran 205. It was a subaru.

..and the car right after him ran 205. It was a subaru.

 :faint:

After yesterdays snow storm I was trying to explain the benefits of AWD and that a car that could replace our 2003 Accord could be a Subaru... :poopoke:  :stirpot:

Again, I'm just sayin'.......Some of those little bastids run pretty good.....How do I know? There's a guy that works beside me, had an Eclipse come in the shop with a spun rod bearing...dude buys car for $200.00...

Goes home, buys rebuilt HX52 Turbo, USED pistons and rods, USED crank, throws this little POS back together with less than $3000.00 in the whole damn car.....Wanna guess what it ran at the local 8th mile track for under $3000.00????

Try 5.80's @112 .......Now, I could argue that it wasn't daily driven, but he drives to to work everyday (Not on 45 PSI, but in "Street" trim @19 PSI)...I even could argue that he has Stupid money in that little turd engine.....I know he doesn't....I've got an 'ol skool 505 C.I. stroker in a Dodge Dart that runs a respectable high 6, 8th mile...I've got a little over 12 years and $10K in it...I just got beat by this little turd for 1/3 of the price. Hard to argue with plain 'ol facts...Congrats on your win, as I doubt anybody is willin' to post a lose story....

I do that 5.8 sec 1/8 mile 155km on a 826 lbs sled I race from a dead stop,,,,,,,,,,, did it all day long and with a little help with nos, lol

I smoked a subaru today at a stop light. I knew he wanted to pass me off the line but didn't let him. It wasn't even close. 2013 Challenger R/T.

If it wasn't even close then my guess is he was naturally aspirated. Not all subies are turbos.

I love the old muscle but I swear I saw the 2013 Subaru WRX concept and I think its pretty sharp.  If it comes into production I might even go for a test drive in it a few times... I probably shouldnt.. I already wanna trade my truck in for a SRT8 Challey when I should just keep it and sink my money into my 71 barra... I hate wanting everything lol, and regardless of ricer or no ricer its think its better to have a running ricer than a shell in your garage.. Both would be idea I suppose.

Welcome to the Super Cuda!

The money here vs the money in my Subaru is Apples to Oranges..... And i dont THINK my POS, unAmerican, junkie, Fart can, +20HP for the wing ricer is fast? I KNOW it.... And if you were blind folded had on sound deadening ear protection and taken for a ride in my Subaru STi or many like it, you would think your in a 600+ HP Mopar w/ slicks! Trap speeds DONT LIE.... This little Rockets are not to be taken lightly! Dont go betting your paycheck at your local street races against one of these things, fair warning!!!

I got a friend who took me for a ride is his STI WRX 2005 or 06 thing was darn quick and pulled hard not to mention it can take a cloverleaf on ramp at 80mph. They are quick for sure but I am sure I would reel it in in the 1/4 mile at the end of the stretch. Might get ahead of me at launch even though the 391 and sure grip do an excellent job of preventing the tires from spinning. Put new BFG rubber on this week and they are still a bit slippery.

How do I post  a video on here?  I have a great video of "tha duster" (n/a small block no nitrous) at the strip murdering a little hatchback that had a monster turbo, cage, slicks, wheelie bar, and a parachute!  For a second I thought it might be a race lol
