Hello everyone,
Been checking out the forum for the last month since I bought a 74 Barracuda 318 auto project.  So far I've gotten a ton of info.   I have cut out the floors and trunk and welded in some homemade subframe connectors so far.   I'm just going for it.  Never done a car before, but I built an airplane from a set of drawings.  I will definitly need all your help and knowledge.  Allways wanted a cuda since High School, so my dream has started.
Pretty sure I want to stroke a 360 , not sure if to buy a LA or Magnum block,  Want a 5 speed overdrive manual trans but not sure if it's worth the time and money to do the swap.  I want the car to be a driver, dependable car.  I'm not doing a complete rottisorie restoration or trying to make it original condition.  Hopefully I'm not in over my head.

Howdy Dan.   If you can build a plane from scratch, and have the guts to fly it, I'm sure you have what it takes to do whatever for your B'Cuda.  If you have much rust & panel replacement work don't blow off the rotisserie approach.

My airplane,  I know its not MOPAR,but is IS a HEMI!    Dynoed 330HP and 540 ft/lb Torque at 2700 RPM.  Thats max RPM for an aircraft engine.

NICE!!! My brother inlaw used to live in Deerfeild beach Fl near the sawgrass mall? He showed me a neighbourhood near an airport that airplanes actually drove right up to the house! All the stop signs etc.. were low to clear the wings ...and the garages!!! I just about flipped! HUGE!! a airplane hanger attached to each house! Totally blew me away!

Brads,     The toys are at the local airport, not the house.    I have friends that live at the place you talked about,  Little to far away from my job.

Wish I could leave my tunnel on the floors that way too much of it was cut up by previous owners for me to do it.  Glad you aboard and It will be a great car when done thanks for getting started on it.  There are lots of good people here to help along your journey to get it done.
