5 bow in a 74 challenger
« on: September 02, 2010 - 12:13:54 PM »
Off hand, does anyone know if a I can put a 5 bow headliner in a 74 challenger? I cloned it to a 70 and was wondering if the holes were changed. I can look when I get a chance, but I was just wonder if anyone has tried this before. Thanks :wavingflag:

I can never remember if 70's were the ones that had 4 or 5.  All I know is that there are 5 spots on the roof framing on my 73 for the headliner bows.

I know the 70 challengers had 5 bows. Not sure why they went to 4 bows. I'm sure they just left the holes the way they were and re designed the headliner. Thanks for your help

My 74 chally has 4 bows, and that's what I put back in, but there is a 5th bow location forward of the rear-most bow.  The rear most bow is located just forward and above the rear window, and is extra long, reaches part way down the sail panels.  The extra "5th" location is up as high as all the rest of the bows.
