What parts have you stock piled over the summer swap meet season to install during the winter?

Me so far I have some Hotchkis suspension parts, upper control arms front and rear sway bars, and RCD shocks, and an Autometer air/fuel ratio gauge ( #3378) and halo halogen headlight kit with relays.Install the fuel sending unit that's been sitting here for a month now! Do something about the Amp meter, either bypass it or get the voltmeter conversion.( Thanks for the reminder Mike!)

Gotta have something fun to do during the cold months of winter! :bigsmile:  :2thumbs:

I don't know where to start:  302 swirl heads, LD340 intake, old direct connection valve covers, original front & rear sway bar, like new Ede shocks, there's more but these are the major things I'm waiting for the temps in the garage to dip below 90 degrees before I get started on!

I bought a front half non A/C heater box. A broken one will be the donor to repair a small break on the outlet edge frequently found broken from passengers with squirrely feet and legs.

a Mailman has frequent visit to our front porch, some as old as 10 months ago so they're waiting for yet another winter ( I think the problem being that CA does have year-around driving season so I don't have any definite deadline to have things done  :drunk:) but the list goes on;

-540cid all aluminum engine + some other bling bling on top of it
- narrowed Dana60 with MW heavy duty axles
- some updated parts for the engine
- -01 Viper seats
- 4-link kit from Freak Ride
- Tubular K-member kit
- copied Frame connectors
- AFCO aluminum radiator

to ensure our mailman has job in close future;
- 2" drop spindles (or maybe driving to MagnumForce for that 5 miles from home)
- Double adj. QA1 front coil-over
- 12,19" Wilwood front and rear set
- fiberglass hood, front&rear bumpers
- Aeromotive tank+ A1000 eliminator pump
- Weld Racing RT series rims and some appropriate rubbers
- couple of beers to Topcat.. maybe bud light.. or Coors  :grinyes:

Duh.. some black suede for custom dash cover and center console sides (custom console)
Dementia already from the year...mmmm ???

Still need to do the Amp meter bypass and install relays on the head light circuits. Then put a sway bar on the rear end.     :working:

 :thinkerg:  Ya I gotta put that on my "to do list" as well! :2thumbs: I tried at Carlisle to get the voltmeter conversion but they couldn't do it there. Gotta send in the gauge.

Good thread.
Looks like I'll be getting back to finishing the interior bits.
I might have to do some suspension work myself.
I have not even gotten into the rear suspension ass'y.

Hmm, Mike, I think I'm gonna teach you some manners once we have the official house warming party => some Belgium monastery beer of different sorts and we can pretty much stop arguing on Bud vs. Coors vs. Miller  :icon16:

Uh, I forgot from the list the TTI B1 headers

For the Dart, 3000 stal converter, 3.56 suregrip..........and I will be ording brake lines, master cyl. and adjustable prop valve. Hopefully get the 727 rebuilt, and a larger fuel line for the 440. Still trying to decide if to go power or manual steering ?  Wondering about room for the power steering pump with the 440.?

Jim' being you metioned brake lines thats one of the things i want to replace on my Cuda as they are all the original lines. I plan to pull the engine out and repaint the the whole firewall area and also replace some wiring as well. I plan to do some traveling to some out of town shows next year and plus all my driving i do around here in town, the last thing i want to worry about is brake failure or wiring issues or worse fire  :22yikes: Those are things i've always told myself i'll do it later and here it is almost twenty years later  ::)
