I apologize for all the questions & seriously appreciate all your help.  What am I looking at in that picture?  Is that the back of the bumper & bumperette where it attaches?  If so, does the bumperette have a piece that slides/fits on the back and the bolt passes through it/the bumper/ and back through it and then bolted?  The repro brackets Ive seen don't seem to have anything on the backside of the bumper...  Thanks again, Jim

Yeah that is the backside.  Here are some more pics that may help.  The back piece is a plastic filler that bolts to the back of the actual bumperette which has 2 studs on the backside of it.  The top one goes through the bumber itself and the bottom just goes through the plastic filler piece.  Hope that makes sense.

Jim - what's your plans for the '73 rubber bumper guards?  I'm trying to decide whether to keep my '73 original or do what you're doing.  If you don't have any plans for the '73 guards, do you have a sales price in mind?
