is there a kit for re-booting the front end?
« on: September 06, 2010 - 12:24:13 AM »
:working:  My front end rubber grease boots are disintegrating from age and can no longer hold grease.  Is there a re-boot kit made for the ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, etc?

I don't know if it is still available, but I bought a boot kit from the local Chrysler dealer here about ten years ago. It had boots for every joint in the front suspension. I still have the box. Tomorrow I'll go out to the garage and post the part number.

I've seen a kit but the price was outrageous...There are some universal poly replacements from Energy Suspension that work if your not worried about the look, cost is reasonable.
