Ohm's law :)  Sometimes written as V = IR or Voltage = Current x Resistance.
You can also express it as V/I = R or Voltage / Current = Resistance
or V/R = I or Voltage / Resistance = Current

He's messing with you. Everybody knows E=mc², not IR.

Brad, all of my parking and running lights in my 70 challenger only draw 3.3 amps.  Go to Radio Shack and get a pack of those diodes and quit wasting time. 1 amp is enough for a bunch of LEDs. You probably shorted the board  somewhere to ground. You don't put a bigger fuse in a circuit because it blows.

What is the use of resistors in led lights? DO they increase brightness?

Some put resistors in series with the LEDs so they will not blow when hooked up to 12-15volts. Some use resitors to add additional load so the thermal flashers will flash at a normal rate instead of faster than normal.

I do of mine, but it's when I had the problem with the control board. After that, it has been smooth sailing.

Ok I've had it! Now the other side went ( led board) same thing a resistor thingy? I tried soldering in a new one and it didn't work? Maybe I got it too hot with the soldering iron? I removed them both and stuck the stock light bulbs back in.  I've had enough of them not being reliable and having to check every time I take the car out!  :banghead:

Look into the new digi-tails. Probably a better product.
