If you have not converted to LED's in the front you should not need the "No Load" flasher.  Yet?  Remember that the socket's provide the ground if you are plugging into the socket for power.  If you have the socket outside of the base you may see feedback through your marker lights.  The marker lights will blink is what I'm trying to say.  I'm running his units in my '73.

UPDATE:

  I'm most of the way there. It's 95*F right now, so I have lost my enthusiasm.   

I think the car is driveable as is, but I gotta problem(big surprise)    The brake lights are fine, as well as the parking lights. The left turn signal is fine also. It's when I turn on the right turn signal that things go down the pooper. The right tail light flashes as it should, but there is a ghost like flash on the left tail light as well. It is much dimmer, but noticeable. Also when the right turn signal is on, both the front and back side markers lights flash.     I'm guessing a ground problem, but where? I installed the old 1157 bulbs in their sockets that are just sitting on the bottom of my trunk now. They didn't flash, but they made the ghost flash on the left brighter, so I knew that wasn't the answer. I also installed a couple of the empty sockets back into the tail light housings, but that made no change. I just hope this isn't something on the control board that needs attention because it is sealed in shrink wrap to protect it. I'll also add there is a button on the control board to make these LED lights act without the sequential thing going on. As I suspected, that made no difference.

Since I'm the guinea pig here, I don't expect anyone has gone thru this before, but I'm just telling you where I'm at now. The good news is the original turn signal flasher seems to work fine. Maybe I'll get back at this in a few days...

Hummm? bummer? did you contact the supplier? Maybe it's defective in the "computer" part? Send them the video? Looks good though! I bet it will really light up well at night!

What happens when the 4 way flashers are on? I wonder if it's the flasher unit?  Is your flasher the electronic type?

No, my flasher is the original. I haven't put on the emergency flashers yet, so I don't know what would happen there.  At the risk of sounding stupid(er), where is the emergency flasher located? Maybe I should start there?      I just want to get this figured out for the rest of you. I do like it, and it is much brighter than the old 1157 bulbs. Given my old system worked fine, I have to think the problem is the new control board, but I hope not. Stay tuned...

Just turn on the signal light and listen for the clicks. Mine was clipped to the dash frame behind the ash tray. I'm betting if you try a electronic flasher unit it will work? I have a few in my toolbox but they are cheap at any parts store.

Another update:

  I've been in contact with Larry, the apparent do-it-all there. He had me do a few things, and he thinks the problem is a short somewhere on the control board. He said he would make me another one and send it out, hopefully tomorrow. I have to say he seems like a real stand up guy. I hope the second control board gives me a little better results.

That looks cool MEK.

'69, & '70 Mercury Cougars had sequential lights like that. They used a 12v motor rotating a step switch. Maintenance intensive.
