they mount to the inside of the fenders. the wedged side against the hood.  helps you keep the gaps correct.
they go right behind the hinges

No holes in the fenders there..? Do I have to drill holes for these then?

 :clueless:   Do you have aftermarket fenders?  in the picture you can see the position. If the fenders will host them,I would drill them.  You can also see the slotted hole in the picture. There is a wedge shaped rubber supposed to go. these and the adjustable ones that support the hood at the headerpanel keep it all in position and free of rattles...

There is a ledge there but no hole. I have the front hood bumpers but nothing on the rear ledge.
Might be wise to drill holes though as the shaker probably throws the hood abit.

Thanks guys!

I've run into more trouble.

- Where does one get wiperblades that are any good and also fit under the hood in the "rest" position..? ..not that I have a rest position because someone's been modding the electrical connections on the wipermotor, so now there is no "rest" mode, no interval and only on and off. Great..

Bought a pair of Bosch blades that was marked Barracuda 70 - 73 but they dont fit under the hood.


- Anyone know where to get the woodgrain cover for the standard dash panel?

There are traces of glue all over the instrument panel so it's most likely been a woodgrain panel there..
Cant find it anywhere, not even on Ebay. I know they exist cause I've seen em in pictures.


- Also on the cowl panel I've located the SS 34 L code and the # code, but that one says B0###### ? Shouldn't that be 0B###### as the car is a BS23N0B ?
And there are dents where the numbers have been knocked in. Seems to be from the knocking itself. Doesnt seem like a pro job.. Anyone else got that?

- Year One has the "right" wiperblades, but if they are like todays standared. then NO. I haven't found any good ones that fit under the hood in parked position either

- As for the wood grain on standar instument panel. This was only a option on Gran Coupe's (BH) and not 'cuda's (BS) So if it looks like it has glue on it, it can be from somthing else or you have  Gran Coupe instrument panel. But then ther shuld be peg hold in the instrument panel.

B0 is normal.

How deep is the dent, got a photo?

The SS stands for Sterling Stamp it was one of Chrysler's sheet metal stamping plants.

Trico or anco has a vintage series replacement blade that will fit under hood under classic series although I have never located them in Canaduh

Been looking into the wiper situation... Head hurts from looking at wiring the diagram..

I've got the 3-speed wiper motor and a 2-speed panel switch.. I think.. In LEFT position it goes slow, and RIGHT it goes abit faster.
When the switch is in the OFF position it just stops dead. Does not go to "PARK" position.


 
 Any still-working guides to repairing a broken PARK function? (I'm assuming it's motor related..)

I'm going to order disc brakes for the car. Today it's got drums front and rear and no brake booster (I think)..
Heres a pic of whats there today.


This might be a stupid question, but can I order a drum-to-disc kit that has a brake-booster and a master-cylinder, or do I have to order a kit with just the master-cylinder..?
Can I use a brake-booster on the car is what I'm trying to say, I guess..?

Does a brakebooster connect to something else on the car that would require further modifications?

I have the Stainless Steel Brakes A156-3  on my 'cuda and I think it works great. As for the other kit, well it looks cool to. And it's got dust shileds. but there is only 2 pistons rather then 4 that the SSBC set has.

Did you have to order alot of extra stuff with the 156-3? Or is everything you need there in that kit?

Did you have to do anything else to fit the booster?

You have disc front and drum rear? I see from your pictures you had the same setup as I have now.

I ddin't install it myself, had a shop do it. But everyting was there you needed to get it installed. I took som time from i ordered it to I goy it (As i wanted painted calipers). The booster is unmodified.

Yes i have disc front rear drums now. I used to have the same setup as you.
