    Does anyone who uses Dynamatt or any other sound deadener? Did you notice any difference in your cars ride  after its application and if so what were they

    jup,  a bit of dynamat on various panels made it sound from boing boing to plok plok...  :2thumbs:

    I did the entire firewall , and first 15 "of the floor.  2 full sheets on the roof,  qtr panels partly in trunk and a few pieces behind the doors,  1 sheet on full trunkfloor and a couple strips inside the doors above and below the bar.  If you drive the car in rain that could cause a problem when water gets trapped behind the sheets.
    I plan on doing the packagetray completely and maybe the doors behind the doorpanel.  The entire car will cost a fortune and also add a ton of ballast... this stuff is heavy!  I was surprised to hear the huge difference with just a few pieces on the panels  :2thumbs:  I used one bulk pack so far and I guess I`ll end up using 2

    I actually went with this stuff called rattletrap I plan on doing the complete inside of the car. It seems to work well, I wont know till I hit the road tho.

    I don`t think I would have used dynamat either if I had lived in the states... not too many different makes available here and prices were close to dynamat so I used that.

    I brought 2 rolls of stuff with spray glue for 30 bucks.Car is very quiet inside,just hear the motor and the exhaust out the back.Anything under the carpet will help greatly.The weight and cost of the expensive stuff is not needed IMO.

    I used frost king duct wrap, (1/8" foam with foil covering) and a roll of aluminum tape. Under 70 bucks from home depot

    How much square feet does it take to do the whole car? Everything except the roof probably as I dont want to take off the headliner and try putting it on again.

    Well for the rolled stuff to do from the rear to the front with one layer was a little over 60 feet
