After last nights game, I feel pretty certain that even the 9'rs can beat Brett Favre.  :stirpot:

As I recall they would have beat them last year except for a last second (40 yd.?) miracle pass. Also if not for two fumbles whithin easy field goal range and a 20 ft. high snap over the QB's head for a safty the 9'ers would have beat the Saints the other night.

Like Mike said, it's still early the Vikes still have a shot at the playoffs, every team still has that chance. But also remember their schedule last year was not as difficult as this years. In the NFL when you have a good season the following year you have to work a lot harder to reach the same level of success.

Yeah, we don't get these teams to meet each other enough.

9'rs defense is for real. Keep an eye on em. They will get stronger in the weeks ahead.

I think the 49's are sitting pretty good at the moment, and in 2-3 years if he isn't used as trade bait Nate Davis can be a real good QB, he's got a gun for an arm, but may be a tad short to scout out the secondary coverages.?  I beleive they will win that division and cause some problems for the more established teams in the playoffs.

:nono: For a team that was supposed to go far in the post season they better get their stuff together quick.

0-4 Start
hope they start gelling soon.seems like alot of the teams picked to make the playoffs aren't doing so well, including my vikings.still early though so.............

   :clapping:  :woo:
Mike you beat me to it.getting moss is a big boast for the vikings with our receiver situation the way it is.he was imature when he was here as a rookie and didn't know how to handle fame anf fortune.i think the pats straightened him out now so i think it's going to be great to have him back.

i wonder if the silver fox had anything to do with it.

favre and moss should be one deadly combination.time will tell.  :woohoo:

we needed a proven receiver really bad and this move should help us out imensely.   :bananasmi

Dave,

I guess my problem is anyone with Moss' attitude. If he doesn't get involved early, he pouts and goes thru the motions. He didn't even have a reception the other night against Miami. For what he gets paid, that is a shame. I think he was just pouting because the Patriots didn't give him a new long term deal.

I bought a new Moss jersey the year he left. It still has the tags on it. I hoped one day he would be back so I hung on to it. I thought it was a huge mistake to let him go in the first place. I feel alot better about our chances now. Just hope he blends in fast.   :woohoo:

I here ya mike,i read him and billichek had an argument at half time monday night and either he got the attitude of "play when i want to play" or what but tuesday he asked to be released.he did some screwy stuff while playing for the vikes in the past.............

1999 excessive verbal abuse of a sidejudge

1-16-2000 squirts a water bottle at a field judge,fined 40,000,later reduced to 25,000

oct 2000 fined for tugging on a field judges arm, with his facemask tapping the bill of the officials hat.reduced to 30,000

november 2000 play when i want to play bit starts

can't remember the year, walks of the field in a play off game before time even expires

another year here,he bumps a cop with his lexus and basically says all the publicity has runied his image here in mn.  :faint:
got a slap on the wrist for that one.

maybe favre and chilly dog and the rest of his teammates here can take care of the homeboy.we still have players on this team that played with him the 1st go around.
if he gives 100% each game and favre and him get on a rythum, hate to be the defense trying to stop peterson, harvin and moss all at once, who you goona cover????:droolingbounce:

waiting for the monday night game against the jets even though favre and moss only four days to practice.

should be very interesting.....................

Dave..................

GO VIKINGS..........  :stirpot:
