So we didn't get QUITE as far as planned... but the WHOLE rear suspension is in and ready, and about 85% of the front suspension is done and ready and in!! grinyes grinyes Always gotta love finding studs that have f'ed up threads... anybody have a 9/16" die in their tool chest... not too common of one... madvibe

So, within 2 weeks, she'll be back at home... Monday I'm headed back up there to finish up the front suspension, put some shocks on her, some torsion bars in, and a few other touch up items, then Rich is going to spend the rest of the week wet sanding and buffing... she hasn't been buffed at ALL yet, and she already shines this much!! eekbig eekbig Just wait until a little buffing is done!! dogpile 3 coats of clear coat already on, probably another 2 more before it's over...

The pics DON'T do justice to the paint color... there is Blue Pearl, Green Pearl and White Pearl in the paint, and in one quart of paint, 50% of it is Blue Pearl... seeing this color in person is the only way to really get the effect!! Simply amazing!! drool drool drool

Enjoy!!

Big bolt in back, small bolt up front... who said anything about disc brakes?!?  eeksmall

And I've KYB Gas Adjust shocks for all 4 corners... and yes, I'm keeping the slant six torsion bars... kinda like they way they shift the weight on take off!! ;) laughing

Yeah... I haven't quite decided if I want to drop the $800 for the setup... I've got all my original front suspension stuff, and I spent $300 for all the new bushings and such... just seems like it'd be a waste of money right now...  ::) ::)

why not use a set off a junkyard A body   Ive got a set but shipping would make it impractical. Dont you guys have Junk Yards ?

Seams like $800 is a little price to keep it out of the guys bumper and kill your spirit  driving

NOPE...not here in Southern Iowa at least...well we have junk yards but nothing with that old of stuff most of them crush the old and in with the new...the only way i'm gonna find my parts is to buy complete cars....which i'm tring to get my hands on a 70-71 duster just for the rear tail light panel for my 74...A-Bodys parts are hard to come by...but i've been finding alot by ditchs and been getting them for free...soo i've been pretty lucky..oh LB...i never checked on my Dart i got but if it has Discs and the Duster has discs...i might sell a set. but i'd like to have the drums because i want to keep it on all 4s...if at all possible.

I'm sittin in a pool of  drool drool drool drool drool  NICE job LB!!!
About the disc brake conversation, I know you didn't even bring this up but JFYI   I picked up mine from JEGS for $660.00 including shipping. Not trying to change your mind here, it's just while you have it where you do, it would be pretty slick to install now. But, when the money comes in later it wouldn't be too bad either!
Regardless, I LOVE it LB, keep the pics coming!!  thumbs
