What size bolts for 727 Trans mount?
« on: September 12, 2010 - 10:19:10 AM »
Hey Guys,

So.. I jacked up my 72 Challenger W/727 (small block) yesterday to do an oil change and I notice that the bolt that when threw the tranny mount into the transmission was missing, then when I shuffled over to the other side, that one is gone too! :22yikes:

Whats wild is, the car drives fine (no clunks) or anything that would indicate the two bolts are gone, not sure how long they have been gone and yesterday I did flog the E body so lots-o-stress on the drive line, but no symptoms?

so, my question is, what size bolts, length, etc are the two bolts that go into the transmission up through the mount?

Thank you!

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.
