Nope, I did it the hard way!  If I had listened to Alan that would have been my engine!  After taking a ride in it I should have jumped on it and sold the thousands of dollars I spent on parts for my RB Stroker.  SOOOO... that being said and me being stuborn I really did miss out on this engine!  Alan really put togeather a solid engine in that 499 and he says that engine will rev MUCH faster than my RB Stroker, so I left some performance out there too...  But I like to do things my way, so Im the guy who has to learn the hard way and I sure did!

Do ya have anything with a trailer hitch?  A small utility trailer would work.( U-haul) A skid ,tie downs ,and an old tire and your set! Take the wife to sweet home Alabama for a weekend....?
Just hurry up already! So I won't be tempted!

Are you looking at renting a pickup?  I know that's been done before.

Yep that's what I'm looking at... I see enterprise has a solid fee no mileage, U-haul wanted almost 50 cents a mile  :puke:

I had to rent a truck to pick up my motor. Hope it works out. I used Old Dominion Freight lines once to ship a short block on a pallet from Tenn to Va, about 400 miles. It was pretty reasonable. Don, you're like me....a head as hard as woodpecker lips!! :roflsmiley:I know your motor will rock!! :2thumbs:

Well, im in Canada right now for a few more days. Then I have to drive back into the USA by way of Montana, Wyoming, S.Dakota, and Iowa. Then fly home from Omaha Ne.  Then go into outpaitent room in hospital to get an epideral injection on Sep 30.  I asked my wife if she wanted to drive up to Clevland and drop off the engine for you, she said maybe. If you paid for the fuel and paid on the engine.  :dunno:  And if I dont end up crippled from the injection :clueless:  I am such a lazy woose.   And Don's engine is a 30 over RB engine mine is a 40 over B engine with more cubes.  I expect to have his done in 2 months or less. I am building another engine for me in the mean time with a couple hundred more horses :2thumbs:

LOL!!!  Im positive my motor will rock, Alan is building it!  He know a lot about these engines and I just hope to learn from him one day!  Its such a refreshing experience when I visit with him we just talk about Mopars and racing.  Alan knows these cars inside and out, he praticaly wired my Rally dash with out referencing any manuals, and knew which wire the grey wire was under the dash, it was amaizing.  Im excited about having him do my engine, we are talking over 30 years of mopar race experience here!  Cant wait to get home and visit with him and Peggy, they are two awesome mopar people!
