What's the difference between T/A rockers and 273 rockers?
The pics above show them. The exhaust rockers are similar to OEM solid lifter 273 and Crane ductile iron small block rockers. The angled rockers are original on 340 6-pack engines because their heads have the intake pushrod hole machined further away from their respective intake ports. That was to allow porting out the pushrod hole pinch in the intake port.
Considering the rocker stand blocks, those particular rockers may be what Mopar Performance use to sell. Milling the OEM cast stands and putting the blocks on was done to improve valvetrain geometry and possibly for valve spring clearance.
Any porting, bigger valves and/or dual valve springs?
