First street race....
« on: September 20, 2010 - 06:31:47 AM »
Nothing big, just beat a late 90's Mustang. Two guys come up on me as we're about to get on a great road to go side by side. One look at these guys and I know it's time to go.
What a blast!!! Talked to the guy a bit, he said his car went 12.80 at the strip. He had some heads and headers, that thing dumped some black smoke when he hammered it, looked like a diesel.  From a slow rolling start I pulled him pretty good , when we took off from around 45 -50, it was real even.
My first victory, how sweet it is :bananasmi.

Glad to hear about it, but you forgot the "street racing is a no-no" disclaimer. We ALL know it's wrong to street race. Still, keep those Mustangs in check!

My first race I was so nervous and excited that I sat there spinning the tires for about 5 seconds before realizing I wasn't moving..

when he hammered it, looked like a diesel.)
sounds to me the nos wasnt working soo he just poured a bunch of fuel down the pipe .
next time tell the guy to not use the bottleand you would have a great heads up race.
