This is a serious project, but a worthy one, engine is stuck from sitting outside for over 20 years without spark plugs, but I am trying to get it freed up. Lots of parts come with including a doner roof and front clip with nice rails and torsion bar crossmember. Have become more interested in another project, but I will keep and restore this car, because I do love it and it will be a stunner when finished, if I can't get my asking price.
Burnt orange in and out with black top and rump stripe, console auto. Born with 15" ralleys, chrome tips, standard dash with clock, tinted glass, no a.c.. Early build Nov. `69. Original and nice #974 radiator included. Top of the rad. core support was cut out at some point with those numbers but a nice oem one goes with. Been gathering parts for it for the last year, nice front bumper with brackets, all seats, a console and some nice oem burnt orange interior trim. Doors are actually very useable and I put an oem `70 e-body front disc brake set-up with the 2 piece rotors on it to make it a roller, originally a drum brake car.

This car is no longer for sale at this price, I have been gathering parts for it and also determined that there is nothing erepairably wrong with the engine. One pistons rings rusted to the cylinder wall, I pulled the heads and got the engine to turn a little. You can still see the crosshatch pattern from the hone and there are no ridges at the tops of the bores, and I couldn't be happier!!!. Still might be for sale, but this may just have turned into a resto thread.

Very tough to find a car that original.  I hope you do make this a restoration thread.

I love A66 '70 Challengers.

Nearly had one before I bought my R/T, but it was in worse condition than advertised and the seller wouldn't come down on price - ended up getting an R/T in better condition for less. Truth be told though, I'd have much preferred the A66 - unfortunately there's not many of them around anymore - especially those with the original engines. Too many seem to have been swapped out for 440's.

Really hope you do decide to have a go at it and get it back to its former glory. Definitely worth it - and FK5 with a Bumble Bee stripe & black roof? Very nice!!!!!
