1971 Cuda headlight bucket conversion help.
« on: September 20, 2010 - 12:31:56 PM »
Hey folks,
Begging for help again after a long absence.

I finally started converting my 1970 fenders to 71 Cuda style. Gills are tacked and before I got too far ahead of myself I wanted to see if I could get some photos and dimensions of where the 71 headlight panel sits inside the fender. If anyone has a reproduction or original fender in primer or blown apart and wouldn't mind taking some pictures whilst holding a ruler up for reference I would truly appreciate it.

Trying to measure twice cut once on this chore, although I am very happy to be working on this car again!

Thanks folks!!

Okay, I am resurrecting this once more.

Could someone provide me with a head on shot of the spot welded dual headlight backing plate on a 71 fender whilst holding up a tape measure or ruler? I just want to make sure I have everything where it needs to be before I weld in nuts.

Thanks in advance yet again!

G

No answers before.  I am surprised.  Don't have the pics though.
Someone has got to have the pics.

I looked thru my photos and this is all I had on my 71. Don't know if it will help much but maybe give you a little bit to refrence to. It's all back together so I can't get any measurements.
