Bell Housing Question
«

Can anyone tell me if I am going to need this bracket on the side of the bell-housing. I have a 360 4 speed (a833 23 spline). I know that I will need the ball stud but am unsure about the bracket.

Well I don't have one like that on my car. It used to be a 360 car and never had it then either. Looks like it would get in the way of the clutch fork.

The bracket there is for your reverse lock out to pull the key out of the ignition. Most people pull all that off when the replace a clutch or install headers. Dont toss it tho. People like me search for that stuff

Hmmm. And seeing as my car started out as a column shift auto, that's why I've never had one on my bell housing.
