thought we would win at least 1 game at home,off to new york for game 3 saturday,doesn't look good for my twinkies.
sure would be nice to win the next two and bring game 5 back to minnesota.

Twins need a lot now. Good luck. Would like to see the WS match up of them and the Giants.

When I was little, my father took me to a Giants game in 1967. I watched Juan Marichal, Willie Mc Covey and Willie Mays all play that same day.
6 months later my father passed away.

This Giants jingle song was on the am radio alot back in the day. Kinda corney now but it is what was accepted back in the days. Brings back alot of memories whenever I hear it.

That all seemed odd to me, re-associating the Giants when they left NY, and the Dodgers leaving Broklyn, and the Braves leaving Millwaukee, I remember...............does anyone else remember where the old Wahington Senators moved to? It was good though in one way I guess, it gave the people on the left coast something else to do besides surf and smoke pot.

They would now days be our beloved Mn Twins. Who are now out of it... as they never got it going againt those Yankees. Someday, just not 2010...

I know the Washington Senators moved a couple of times, and now Washington is on their third try at it(called Nationals now). 

Didn't the second edition of them move to become the Texas Rangers in 1972? I need help here guys, I was only 10 years old at the time.

  That is correct Mike, but the year of '72 seems a bit late, but then again I'm 64 and the ole memory thing..........ya know    I was 26 in 1972
