When I'm typing in replies, topics, or even replying to PM, I've noticed that after so many lines, the screen stops showing me what I'm typing. It is all there, but I have o omanually scroll down to it, and as soon as I start typing again, ir rolls back up to some preset limit. It never seemed to do it before, but it seems to have suddenly started this summer. I'm sure becaue of some unknown combination of keys I pushed while waiting for someones huge avatar to load. How can I change this?

Try blocking avatars in your account settings to start maybe?

I sometimes have issues like that (although not on c-c.c) when my Java is not up to date. Might also be Flash player as well if that isn't up to date.

I've been getting a lot of weird things on this site lately,  seem to loose connection & have to start replies over for one.

I`ve had the same problem for a longer time now, seems to occur mostly when I reply a pm and add a quote or some pics in it... very inconvenient....  :P

Reset my account to block avatars, but I still get the same situation when posting long replies, or like dutch said, attaching quotes and pictures.

FWIW, I get the same thing on dodgecharger.com, which is formated with the same type of hosting service.

If you put the curser on the line at the bottom of the box, left click and hold it, then drag it down. This makes the box bigger.

Same problem here BUT only noticed it in lengthy PM replies and that's with no quotes or pics. It might happen to me in regular threads too but I'd have to type enough to fill the box. That never happens, the boxes in "topics" are bigger. I'll try brads70 idea for PM's the next time.
