Now that's what I call a present!   :2thumbs:

Is the engine basically a stock build or a bit wilder?

1970 F 440 Hp with forged crank. From his ebay add:  The engine is painted in it's original street Hemi orange ,    This is a FORGED STEEL CRANK  engine. It's complete from carb to pan. Built with only the finest parts. Up graded forged Keith Black pistons .030 over, with speed pro molly rings.   The rods were resized and  fitted with ARP rod bolts. The complete rotating assembly was balanced. A  New Hydraulic  cam  and lifters with double roller timing chain and gears were also installed. A complete 3 angle valve job with hard seats for unleaded gas was given to the stock  castings along with the factory correct valve covers. Fresh off the test stand and ready to drop into your car. It will include the upper and lower pullies with new fan belt, as well as a new  fuel  pump , water pump front case housing and new aluminum Hi volume water pump. Also included is a new alternator and all the factory correct mounting brackets that go with it. You also get the spark plugs and wires along with an Accell super coil. Everything you need to plug and play.  The engine will also include a NEW Edelbrock  4 bbl. carb, or Holley

Should be low 400's Hp wise.

Great when you get to be yer own Santa!!  She will kinda be a basket case for a while look brand new on the underside and most of the inside but still a 10 footer on the outside until I can get the rest. I am in mopar withdrawals  :pullinghair: and need to get her running and drivin, then i will finish her.

It is what is on the inside that counts ( corny on ) :icon16:.

Can you provide some details of your priming and painting?  Brands of materials, spray guns, etc.  Looks nice.

Stripped to the metal, cleaned heavily with solvents and chessecloths, Por-15, etching and sandable primers, PPG paints, and clear. I have not gotten to the outside of the car yet so not blocking yet but i have some of the tools to do that when i get there. Eastwood sells the argent paint in pints if you call them. I have access to a 2 quart paint pot from my father in law who put a brand new sprayer gun on it. I like the 2 qrt pots as you can lay under the car , paint from the side, upside down w/o loosing the spread like a gravity feed. I am not sure what the make of the gun is I will ask him. The 1 qrt pot I have in the garage is the same as the 2 qrt except smaller scale. There is another one here that is a pint pot have not used that one yet.

I did not expect it to turn out as nice as it did. I skipped many steps as it is only the underside, engine bay interior, and rear panel. When I get to the outside and body work it will be the Full 30 steps and hopefully not too many nightmares. I have a few Mopar mags lying around that describe the entire process for painting. very long process so when I see how fast it is done in shops and on threads here I have nothin but respect for thier craftsmanship.

Going to install the prop valve, and beg the wifey for enough dough to buy the clutch adjusting rod and service kit , once I have it, I think I have everything to bolt the motor and tranny together. Maybe buy a new speedo cable too.

Looks like a small grinding tool or fine saw blade may be the best bet scoring the cut line with a sharp exacto first. Wish I had a dental drill and attachments tools. Maybe a dremel.
