Yeah I kick myself in the arse for selling my Carter, it was origionaly on my 69 block but it was for an auto config. I stripped it bought a rebuild kit with the larger nozzles and sold it.  :banghead: Live and learn.

(Edited 8-1-17)

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Well got the motor / tranny clutch all hooked up and adjusted with shifter and linkage in ,( thank God for the 70 book ) and the booster bench bled, brakes bled, and leakes stopped. Battery tray, rear valenece painted red to match until I can get to the rest painted limegreen next summer. Not fired up yet still need some things, Carb linkage and still need to figure out the proper fuel lines set up from fuel pump to carb, Mopar battery, reverse backup harness for the tranny.

Looks fantastic Chris!  :clapping:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

It's a big milestone. Way to go!

Hey, I think I chose poorly. You used 'Chrysler orange' and not 'Hemi orange' yes?

I think it is hemi orange I tried painting the 70 intake ( VHT hemi-orange rattle can) and this engine paint was a tad darker I got it to match pretty close.

4-speed shifts real nice and the driveshaft is in after getting it back from the shop. Got the rear valence on and the drivers side exhaust hanger. The rear valence sits a little funny and tight around the drivers side 1/4 panel due to it being smacked in the 80's and not repaired correctly. Next summer I will replace the full quarter the trunk extension and that little filler piece in the corner below the tailight behind the bumper.
