    Nice to have another person from washington.  I live in Brier washington.  Wish you success in getting the car on the road.  It has been over six years since mine was on the road and we are finally getting to the last stages.  Thank god.

    6 yrs I feel for your pain, I also am glad to know you will be buckling up asphalt again, I purchased mine in 2005 after I got home from Iraq in Madras, Or. I was driving by saw her on the lot and fell in love,  next day I was signing the papers, she's paid off now and all mine. didn;t take her off the road for restoration until a year and a half ago when I have collected most of the parts and had a garage to do it in, now my restoration is moving at the power of budget money and the wifes checked approval!

    Just ordered Brand new Black Carpet and Dynomat insulation from year one this AM and some concourse rear sway bar end links, started pulling gas tank when I realized the wife filled her up just before we moved in. Will be sucking gas soon so I am waiting. The last time I had to siphon gas from a tank was in 91 and got pretty high trying to get the gas out of the tank, I think I saw God that day! Had a hell of a headache after.

    It started out with what I thought would be a rebuild of a tranny and morphed into my more.  If I'd known it was going to take over six years I just would have rebuilt the original 318/904tranny.  Put them back in the car and drove it while we worked out all the technical issues that have come up.  I've done okay with it though.  I bought a running 1970 convertible for $3k.  Put about $30k into body work and new drive train.  The 360 (380hp) crate motor I had in the car had issues (crank sliding while running) pounded the interior of the tranny into junk.  So I decided to go with a Hemi in 2004 with the intent to look as original as possible to today a restorified car with modern suspension, drive line upgrades and other items available today to make the car more streetable. 

    When I get the car on the road I'll cruise down to where you live to check out your car and to have a nice cruise.    My wifes family lives in Hillsboro Oregon.  So we probably drive by your place regularly.

    Sounds cool, I think I am about a year off of getting back on the road and terrorizing mini-coopers. :bigsmile:

    Pleased to meet you, I bet you saw that challenger project sitting on Lewis street in Pasco back in 2007-8 window rolled down rain pouring in, I wanted to hop the fence and roll up her window if she had'n. Saw it posted later for sale on e-bay or craigslist don.t remeber which.

    Thanks I am hoping to be placing horror into the hearts of every subaru driver by next summer, ( We DO NOT CONDONE STREET RACING  :rofl:) now that that is said my timelines tend to be a bit off. The old camera pics said 2006 but it was 2009 when i really started doing anything to her.

    Thank you AAR that is a real rimblow out of a AAR that I bought at the swap-meet I also have a extra AAR grill that i need just a small peice off of to fix my grill. I love AAR's maybe that's why I had NAMC put 391 gears in the 8 3/4.
