Thanks ordered a new edelbrock w/ the electric choke I will pick it up tomorrow. Now I am trying to figure out why I keep blowing the spark plug wires off. I prpbably need to get some better wires, they are slipping off when I am drivin. Blew two wires off just on this run this morning plug it back in she runs great powerful. I may need to crimp em a bit.

How great does it feel?

Kinda scary at first but i got used to it and the clutch needs a minor adjustment I have a little over a inch of play not chatter but a minor vibration in the clutch pedal feel. The Brake pedal is slow to release, ( does not return rapidly even though they stop the car great ). I have 15psi vac pressure and she runs stellar when the plug wires stay in. Very powerful car, and holy crap is she fast. I have never driven a car this fast before.

I think I had too much slop outside of the plug wire clips and the wind must have been flopping them around i tightened every wire up and clipped so more of the wire is at the cap.

Took her for another trip on the street again today!! Feeling confident in her performance, definately need to get a overflow bottle of some sort, just like when I had the small block she still pukes coolant after I shut her off when I have been driving her a while.

That's par for the course. Once the fluid is just above the fins(for lack of a better word), it won't puke coolant anymore. You can't fill the radiator to the top. Can you tell I have been down this road before.    :bricks1:
