the S*&! 70boT/A finds
« on: September 24, 2010 - 11:11:31 PM »
figure ive been finding so much stuff lately that i might as well just start my own thread...these pics come from an old junkyard. EVERYTHING IS FORSALE. The purple road runner is a 383, the bronze road runner is a 383, the sport satellite is a 383, the 70 coronet RT flipped up on its side is a 440 with a factory painted roof. sadly someone decided they wanted the frame rails off of it and cut all the frame rails off it. More pictures to come tomorrow, they guy has about 300 cars

Must be fun to wander thru junk yards like that...  Like a sacred burrial ground.

That's crazy. I worked in Arkansas for a while and there are old cars EVERYWHERE just rotting away. Sad...

Christine has looked better.....

Please, go save some of those old Mopars.  If I had an extra spot, I'd offer to provide one a new home!

Jim

She was the first one i really noticed, i have always wanted one. She is beyone repair though, years of being stuck in a ditch and tress falling on her have taken their toll. I am going to try to get a road runner if the price is right

Thanks for posting. He's really got the old school way of doing things.  Compared to around here, those cars are not that rotten. Show us more!

There are a lot of usefull parts and sheetmetal laying around there.  :2thumbs:  But you see this kind of thing most everywhere, this one just happens to be near all Mopars, but why do people/dealers who have these kind of resources not take better care of them? Just looks like a haphazard "who cares" way of "doing business".  :dunno:  :clueless: Truthfully it appears he's done as much damage to the cars as anyone else, a little organization and care could still add years of "life" to a lot of those cars. To begin with I'd find all the X brands, crush them into display stands for the Mopars.  :2thumbs:  :roflsmiley:  Seriously, you know what I mean, why further destroy equipment and parts? That's money in his pocket.
