The Dukes really had some wild stunts in it, but Bullitt was great.  There was a tech article published in a couple mags about the cars.  It seems the Charger was a stock 440 4bl, & the Mustang a 390. (BIG weight advantage for the 'stang) But the Mustang would not keep up,so the Charger had to keep waiting.  So they had the engine done in the Mustang (I think Smokey Yunick, not sure), but they spent more on the engine in the 'stang than the Charger cost, & it still wouldn't keep up.  I'm not surprised, are you??  Still, it was a really fun movie.  Sorry Mustang guys.  Ovmf

Although it's not the greatest driving thats still a lot of chase for you $$.  8)

Well, I have to go with VP (LOVE watchin it with my bro-in-law who has a light blue '69 Jag E-Type 'vert)

But I also offer honourable mention for The Wraith.  Tim Feehan's Where's The Fire (and a bit of Ozzy thrown in) with the Dodge Interceptor smokin the 'Vette and Fire Chicken

And how often do ya see a pre-'70 'Cuda in a flik??
iagree  "The Wraith" is an awesome flick, too.  That is the one with the Barracuda that was owned by those punks, right?  I'm trying to remember what movie I watched that had a pre-70's Barracuda, '68 SS/AA 426 to be exact, that the good guy drove around.  He was addicted to getting back at some guy who murdered his wife and several other people in some big black ghetto cruiser.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?  That was a decent flick, whatever it was.
