NZ Paint Work *UPDATED*
« on: November 08, 2004 - 04:04:05 AM »

Here's just a few photos of the Challenger with the roof and body side molding holes filled in, came up REALLY good. He is just fixing a few minor areas around the left rear quarter and some other places in need of a little buff and touch up. Should be back at the resto shop by the end of this week. The engine is due back  this week ready for it's blast of HEMI orange paint, will be on an engine stand ready for a photo update by this Friday if all goes to plan. Engine is nearing completion, trans was done ages ago, interior is waiting to be installed the whole cars underside is ready to be bolted on.

Things holding up the Bright White Project? Glass and rear trunk & 1/4 panel moldings.  mad grinno

The gaps and lines (doors etc) are not the final placing, just to let you know. LOL!!
They are basically just hanging on, infact the doors don't have the new hinges in place.  laughing grinyes
The rad support is black so the white wouldn't show through the grill, nothing worse IMO.
It will be dark Black behind the 70 grill once complete.

The photos are nothing major but just letting you see, I know how much we all love photos around here.

Cheers,
Carl  patriot

Thanks everyone. I'll say, theres a few resto updated photo threads here in the last day or two. Good for buisness!  laughing

74Chall: I've got 15x8" Cop rims ready to go on at anytime, but I will also buy some 15x8 Rallye rims. Both sets are 245/60/15
My car had the same wheel set up before the resto and it so very well. Hell yeah I can't wait for the putting back together part, there are so many parts!!!!! Infact I'll post up the sheets of parts on another thread.  ack I want to see the engine next but my resto guys seem pretty convinced that my car should have the engine/trans etc in within the next few weeks, then it'll be interior work which will take a little while (conversion from blue to black) then just the normal after resto tunning and making sure everything runs true.  :D  ;D

Thanks again everyone.  ;)  patriot
