Here are a few photos of the block straight after it's return to the resto shop.

It had a full rebuild and I'll post some of the tech stuff later this week. It's waiting for it's lick of HEMI orange paint.

There is also a few shots of the number on the block, one is my VIN JS23U "OE11959"

Hey NZ,

What brand harmonic balancer is that and will factory pullies line up using it?

It's looks nice and thick like a Hemi balancer, but you can't use the same pulley's on them.

Might be a good one to use when building a Hemi on a budget that way you can use normal big block pullies if it works that way.

Thanks everyone!!  :D

JS27: I'm not sure I'll find out more in the weeks a head, I do know this it isn't from YO they don't stock 440 balancers, we had a little trouble finding a balancer that wasn't "performance" but I'l definitely find out more plus what actually went on in the guts of the engine, I do know it was bored slightly, how much? I'm not sure but there is a detailed invoice of what was done and everything that was done by the engine shop was run past my resto guys just to get 2 opinons and combine there knowledge, can't wait this is basically a new car again!! Might even have that new car smell or better, a virgin MoPar smell.

Thanks once again everyone, these photos will be the last for some time now, next photos should show REAL progress, shoes and underside complete, drivetrain in, headers/exhaust and maybe a tad of the interior installed. Still estaimating around late Feb for completion as the shop closes up from December 20 - Jan 10 so there's over a half a month gone.  :( Still once the New Year has past she will really start to take shape. Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!  :patriot:  :guitar:

Cheers,
Carl

The arse end will be the same as from the factory - 8-3/4 SureGrip with 3:55's.  :driving: :grinyes:

Wheels are 245/60/15 all around to make it sit, jusssst right.
The wheels at the moment are 15x8" Cop rims but I will also get a set of 15x8" Rallye Rims with Chrome trim ring.  ;D
