Hi GranCuda1970,
Thanks for asking about the Jewel for the jewel box.  It's nearly done, just need a few more components like Carb, exhaust headers, distrubutor and wires.  It's a 77 model 440 with all stock demensions.  I installed TRW flat top pistons and a medium lift/duration Comp  Xenergy cam and Stealth aluminum heads.  Not a wild thing but should be good low to mid range.  Picture hopefully attached!  PK

OHHHHH OHH HO She looks pretty good, There is a guy here around town been posting on craigslist a 440 and 727 combo wants to give it away for 150 bucks if you know of any takers search MOPAR in the Portland Ore area and you will see it.

I need to assemble my E-440 block 375 pony is has been machined stock rods been lightened and balanced , old stock crank, new forged flatop pistons .20 over , new clevite 77's , had the cam ground to 6 pak specs but do to money crimping will just be going with, a mopar 484 cam , the stock 906 heads the motor had from the factory they are good but need the hardened valve seats. I was thinking of setting up the heads roller but again money ,the eldebrock Torker 440 intake, ( have the stock intake still but like the torker), new electronic ignition and distributer with the orange box, from summit racing. still have to pick up a carb was thinking holley 750. Got the 11" flyweel balance stock harmonic balancer, balanced and picked up a clutch from AAron here in town that was used a few times and pulled from a 69 charger. I have a lot to do and a whole lot of questions to ask Now I need to get a copy of the 1970 service book for torque specs I have some of it on disk But I just need a book in my hands.

GranCuda1970's Engine in state of limbo and void of life.

Soon the evil wifemonster will let GranCuda1970 purchase the remaining parts to bring tabitha back from the spirit world.

The jewelry box is almost ready.

The carcass of tabitha will be renewed and the road will ones again feel her touch.

GranCouda1970,
Some interesting stuff laying there on your garage floor.  Looks like most of it is ready to bolt in place.  There is never enough time.  I saw a post from you in another topic that you were in Iraq in 04.  Were you with the WNG and on deployment?  My son was there in 04 and 05 with the WNG. I forget his unit but it was assigned to the 1st Calv. Regt. He returned safely and is still in the Guard.  Thank you for your service.  I know how difficult the sacrifice can be.  PK

Hi GranCuda1970,
My son, 1SG Steven Knight was in A Co. T.F. 1-161, 3BCT, 1C.D, a mechanized infantry( Bradleys) CT out of Kent.  Maybe you crossed paths at some point.  They hardly used their Bradleys due to the heat causing very rapid tread wear. They used Humvee's instead.  Thanks again for serving!
I was looking at the crossmember in the front of your car, the one that goes between the bumper brackets, and thinking my Challenger does not have that.  Any thoughts? Should it have one?  PK

To be honest  I am not sure if the challenger has that crossbeam. Might want to PM C O D Y as he has 2 of them dissassembled and being restored I bet he knows.
