73-74 e- body spindles...can they be swapped left to right?

Is there a left and right on 73-74 e-body spindles? Can they be swapped so the caliper mount is on the rear? I ask as I'm strongly considering converting to Viper calipers and from what I've read they like to be rear hung? ( otherwise you will need to swap the bleeder screws and crossover tubes?) There isn't a mounting bracket for this spindle/caliper so I plan on making one. ( not rocket science!)

I'll post pictures when I make them. The stock Vipercaliper brackets are diecast aluminum. I'm going to make mine out of either stainless steel or 7075 t-6 aluminum. Leaning towards the aluminum for the weight....
