73 Cuda resto
« on: September 28, 2010 - 03:52:11 PM »
It started life as a 340 3 speed car.  When my grandfather acquired it he put a 440 4 speed in it.  Now it is getting a 5.7 hemi from street and performance along with a 5 speed auto.  He is the second owner and bought it in 1976.  My dad and I are doing the resto on it.  The car is going to be a two tone, silver and blue.  A few other mods include rack and pinion steering, vintage air and a flaming river steering column.  I will try and post pics.  I am having trouble getting them to post right now.

Wecome! You'll like it here, lots of great people and help.  Several have done the same conversions so you should get plenty of help if you need it.  Remember, keep  those pics coming because: :useless: :2thumbs:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Nice work  :2thumbs: I'd love to build an E-body with EFI 5.7 Hemi, modern suspension, all power and A/C to have as a driver.  How cool would that be.  Good luck with the rest of the build  :clapping:
