Great work everyone, I finally got the bottom end of the enging in the car this past weekend. Unfortunately, ran into problems with flywheel bolts and was unable to get the trans in. Now waiting on bolts from summit...

73, what camshaft specs did you go with?  I see it's a Mopar Purple Camshaft, but I'm curious as to what duration and lift you went with.  I'm sitting here excited about my 340 build-up in the summer and that's still too many months away. newsad nopity

Rev, I see things are still progressing quite well on the '70...Keep it up!!!
Oh, and 73340, awesome work on your white lightning, too. ;) 8)

Took the steering column apart and swaped out the column shift collar for a blank collar. We are making this a console car. Stripped the brown paint off and painted the colmn in flat black. Rewired the column and reassembled.

Thanks Street ;D  Your correct  thumbs, It's a purple shaft #4452761.  I have the same cam  in my auto car and I like the way it sounds and runs...Both are air cars and I didn't want any idle problems...I know how you feel iagree, the time will be here before you know it

::) Yes it is that time of year for most of us who must put our babies away for the "hibernation period", but like April, we all make over them like that "secret lover" , but I think I got it worse than the rest of you, when I spend the weekend at the "mopar barn" I have a queen size bed right beside the chally, and I can dream and fantasize while I sleep, sometimes I think the Charger get jealous, lol.   thumbs WHAT A LIFE !  :D Soon to be back to work on the RR  ;D

the only thing I did to the Cuda this week was go in the garage and tell her how pretty she is and tell her that I still love her even though I haven't driven her.  (I think I need help because I am telling the truth).     eeksmall

I`m still concentrating on getting my Ramcharger plow truck ready for winter but managed to a my 727 torn down for the rebiuld. We were pleasantly suprised that we didn`t find any major damage after seeing lots of black mud and metal particles in the pan. There was some expected wear and heat marks on the high clutch steels caused by the trans slipping between 2nd and 3rd but not as bad as we feared.I also scored some stuff at a swap meet Sunday, scored a driveshaft safety loop for $20 and a gold anodized air cleaner for $10.I also picked up an aftermarket race wieght AAR hood for $80 so not a bad weekend at all! beer
