69 Dodge Superbee
« on: November 08, 2004 - 11:46:35 AM »

I can not believe that I am sitting here typing this, my wife is gonna kill me, but my desire for yet another E body has taken over my soul and it forces me to do things that I swore to myself I would never do. My evil side has not gotten my sentimental side to 100% agree to do this yet, so I guess I am just testing the waters to see what is below.
So here goes .........
Up for TRADE is my 1969 Dodge Superbee (clone). The car was originally a 318 a/c car that was factory F6 Bright Metallic Green with white interior and white vinyl top. This was only offered in the spring of 69 and it was known as the spring special. This car was bought new by the NC Secretary of State in 69, he sold the car to the second owner in 1976. The second owner then parked the car inside a storage building and that is where is sat until I bought the car on July 22,2002. The car still had all of the state capitol parking permit stickers and the 1976 inspection sticker on the windshield when I brought it home.
The car is new front to back, the body was taken down and a few small dings were taken out. New quarter extensions were put on the bottoms of both quarters. The rest of the floor pan and trunk is rock solid. The body is arrow straight with no blemishes in the paint. New front and rear bumpers, New windshield, new interior, seats re-bunned, new carpet, new headliner, new performance gauges, new tach, new Grant steering wheel, factory AM radio, am/fm cassette in dash with new Kenwood speakers, trunk is nicely done with matching spare and tire, battery box in trunk, fully carpeted, fire extinguisher. Wheels are 14X7 Magnums on BF Goodrich T/A’s, new tires on rear, good tires on front. New brakes, new wheel cylinders, new shocks. Engine is brand new, don’t have 500 miles on it yet, it is a VERY strong 440 bored .30 over, 284/484 Mopar Cam, 1.81 / 2.02 valves with lots of porting and polishing, Forged TRW pop ups with 11.5:1 compression, Dynomax Ceramic Headers with Dynomax race bullet mufflers, header exhaust cutouts, Edelbrock intake and 750 carb, Edelbrock high volume fuel pump, high volume oil pump, aluminum radiator with puke tank, MSD 6T, Accel wires, all new custom wiring in engine bay, new 3/8 braided fuel line from tank to pump, fuel tank has been taken off and coated/sealed. Professionally built high performance trans with shift kit, 2800-3000 stall converter, Lokar kickdown cable, new trans cooler. Car is always kept inside and it is brand new and a real headturner. Car is very dependable and extremely strong. Wanting to POSSIBLY trade for a NICE E body, no junk. PM me or send email to fastmopars@bellsouth.net

nono Don't even!!!! I got rid of one a few years back and have kicked my self in the rear ever since!! You built this car and you will be getting someone elses work if you trade it. Maybe you should have made this a poll and you would see that most will agree. Get a project and build it like you did this one. You will always regret it if you get rid of it. Love the car,  drool   if I had some extra e-body that was as nice I would consider it. My project I have now will never get sold or traded. JMHO, good luck!

I have a 74 Cuda, 360 #'s motor, Triple Black, if your interested.  Big B-Body fan, like E-Bodies, but prefer B-Bodies.
