How much sound deadening material did the car take?

So far I've used up a 100 sq ft roll from fatmat.com. I will need to get more, maybe 25 sq ft?

I did the inside of the drivers door yesterday and you would not believe how much of a sound difference it made when closing the door . And I don't have any of the door internals in it yet. So I can only inagine how quite it's going to be once the interior is in and all the door panels get put on. I made a little 15 second video of it and will post it on youtube when I do.....

Well, it took a bit of trial and error to make it all fit. But it fits and everything lines up nicely

Hemi AND A/C , that just sounds like fun.

After talking to Tim Banning, and as long as the long block has sat idle. My customer had backed off the rocker arms to releive some strain on the valves.
So I retorqed the loose rocker arm stands and then went thru the valves for peace of mind. Bofore buttoning the top end back up.

The bracket used to attach the oil dipstick tube to the manifold ,SUCKS.The angle on it is completly wrong, so in the trash can it went. So, i'm going to make a new one to hold it in place the 1st of the week.
Hopefully the engine/trans assy will be bolted to the already done K-frame and in the chassis by the end of next week

While waiting on the engine belts to show. I decided to mount the already done power brake booster re-inforcement bracket and redone wiring harness clips and nuts.
The wiper motor is an nos piece the customer bought 20 years ago,,,and yes I know it's not right for the model year. But this is in no way an OE correct restoration, this is his playtoy

Also, so I could finish up the trunk area. I decide to take a look at the rear defroster he brought over.

I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It's been kind slow going. But having to rework most of the repop parts brought in kind of slows things down.

Here is the repop OIL dipstick tube to manifold bracket.
As you can see the bracket is bent completely opposite of the way it needs to be.

I ended up bending - making a new bracket to attach the tube to the manifold and hold it in place.

Got all the allignment issues with the A/C compressor, power steering and alternator straightend out.
Compressor is painted the black he wants it and is on for the last time.
Bouchillon recomended the saginaw power steering pump and brackets.
