Tim Banning recomended not to use the choke tubes. And the fact the car has a carb with an electric choke , means the tubes are for looks only.

A couple friends dropped by this past sunday afternoon,,,, and like Prego, it's in there.
The assy went in from the bottom, exactly as you see it. The  Engine, Trans, and K-frame all as an assembly. and we didn't scratch anything

Did a little fab work today and made an adapter / mounting plate for the Vintage Air a/c box. Myself and the cars owner had no interest in drilling holes unless absolutely necassary

The box comes with 2 brackets that are attached to the rear side of the unit and then require the firewall to be drilled to attach the box to the firewall. The box now attaches to this plate, and the plate has studs epoxied to it that protrude thru the firewall where the original non a/c heater motor used to be

Then just made a bracket to attach the box to a pre-existing stud on the interior side of the cowl plenum

Finally found dash speakers that fit without to much majory surgery to the dash frame.
These are Clarion 3.5" 2 ways . They fit the grille perfectly, and I only had to trim the metal dash frame maybe 3/4" of an inch.
