I have finished mounting the Addco rear bar, See the attached pics showing the spacer at the diff mount and my solution to the "weak" chassis mount using a plate to spread the load. The bar may still hit the back of the diff theres not lot of room if anything happens I can shorten the end links. Next time its up on a hoist a few carefull welds and all should be good. I haven't driven it yet I'll let you know how it goes.  :2thumbs:

I thought that my body mounts was on the inside of the rail not on the underside, cannot seem to find a pic and the cars not with me at the moment.
Your mount looks good though.

I wonder why the Addco ones dont pick up the original mount points from the sides..[ I take it that its the holes in the side of the chassis you can see in the pic] Made to price I guess.. :clueless:

My car didn't have those holes.   :dunno:

I can't explain that other than my car never had a rear sway bar from the factory.

I went the Addco way too. So far so good.

Update; I took her for a drive today. The rear [anti] swaybar is icing on the cake, for the cost well worth it.  :burnout:

My car rear frame looked like yours MEK until I scraped the u-coating off. The holes were covered up by the u-coating.
